About Me
ABOUT ME
All about me, well. I love travelling, discovering new grounds, people and activities. Whenever I have time and money, I want to go somewhere new, learn some new language or see something. My holidays have really always been like that. I´m not particularly shy when it comes to meeting new people, and I find couchsurfing to be an exciting way to "get it all", culture, new friendships and a new input on the place your travelling to. I like a challenge, trying out new things, I am open, friendly and considerate, a good person to have on your couch. :) As you already may have understood I have many interests. architecture, art, music, culture in general, languages, outdoor activities, travelling, I´m open for anything new. I guess I´m most passionate about architecture and music, but being Norwegian I somehow really can´t get away from really appreciating good nature and sports activities.
I find the best thing about travelling is finding the small hidden places, the interesting people and experiencing things you will remember for a long time.
PHILOSOPHY
All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Have a balance. To much of one thing makes me unhappy and boring. I have to have different activities during a day, only uni makes me unwell if I cant go do sports, hang out with friends or watch a good concert later the same day, even when I love the subject I study. Life is multifaceted, I feel the need to be that too.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
with good conversations, cooking, enthusiasm and humor.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I couchsurfed with a friend in Siena and Milano a couple of years ago. It was a great way of getting to know the good places of the different cities, and knowing a new culture. We found nice microbreweries, and woke up in the morning to meeting extremely nice, fun people. New input, great feeling.
Interests
architecture, music (anything from 50s rock til today, funk & soul, electro, as long as it has a good tune or vibe - even though I am a bit picky), arts, sports (climbing, swimming, hiking, yoga, biking, anything really), travelling, languages, nightlife, dancing, reading, I could continue a long time. I thing I can summarize it: I´m curious about new things.
