ABOUT ME

We are a young, dynamic and very happy family that loves to travel!

I, Julie, met Marc a few weeks before leaving on a long journey through Europe, in 2008. Unexpectedly, we fell madly in love. In spite of the distance, we grew closer and closer thanks to hundreds of pages of letters, e-mails and chats. 14 years later, we have a happy family! Chloe was born in 2010 and Maude in 2013 !

Curious, open minded, dynamic, we love meeting new people and learning as much as possible from them! We also really want our kids to meet plenty of people, from different backgrounds and to be exposed to different languages, music, styles, etc.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is too short to be scared of being scared : live, taste, love, try, ask, learn... anything to stimulate your mind!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

This June 2022, we are finally taking off for Paris, the South of France and Barcelona with our two daughters, now 12 and 9 years old.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

On my 4 month adventure in Europe in 2008, I did half couchsurfing, half hostels and it was perfect for me! I love couchsurfing for learning as much as possible on the people, the culture, the language, etc. And then I have some time to myself in hostels. This trip has surpassed my expectations and mostly because of couchsurfing!!!

READY TO GIVE BACK

We bought a house a few years ago really close to a college and University. We have 4 rooms in the basement that we rent to students. They are empty during the summer months, so this June to August, if we are around, it would be our pleasure to greet you in our home.

I am a teacher and worked 3 years as a tour guide in Quebec City, so I know quite a bit on Quebec and Canada history. I can also help with your homework if you like!!! hehehehe....

Marc is a knowledge junky. He's always eager to learn from other cultures. Always searching for new innovative ways of thinking, he can offer a fresh perspective on many subjects.
