About Me

ABOUT ME

Essential info/disclaimer about me I'd better admit already now :-) (both for my guests and/or potential hosts):

1) The few things I'm sensitive to, and pretty suffer when they around me, are MUCH DIRT, DUST, CIGARETTES AND NOISE WHEN SLEEPING (other than that I think I'm pretty easygoing.. :-)) ).
It goes without saying that I avoid them any way I can, both when i'm hosting and when I'm hosted. I really don't know if it's considered by you to be an advantage or a disadvantage... - but anyway I decided to come clean about that (literally ;-) )

2) Another thing if I'm your host -
Proud to say my house/fridge is 100% vegan ☺️❤️

*

Love travelling, meeting new people and new cultures and learn new things about the world around me and about myself.

Have 2 academic degrees: Anthropology&Sociology
and Cinematography and Television.

Love animals and nature (though becoming too urban!!! Convince me to go more to nature whem you travel with me 😍)

I love (almost) all kinds of films, music styles, places in the world and colors.

I hate waking up early in the morning, cigarettes, dust, unthoughtfulness, narrow mindedness and most of the Israeli politicians... ;-)

PHILOSOPHY

I think that "live and let live"
and "fake it till you make it"
are personally my favorite motos

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Trying to host, surf & help as much as I can :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's like an old quality wine - gets better and better (or maybe it is I who get better at being a CSer??..)

Till now I've had dozens of GREAT experiences, both in Israel as a host; and throughout Europe and USA's coast to coast journeys :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Films I love: The Wall, Groundhog Day, Requiem for a Dream, Singing in the Rain, Sunset Boulevard, Chinatown, Eyes Wide Shut and about a million more...

Music - everything - every kind - every genre - as long as it makes me feel anything.

Loved many books but my favorite, 'default' book is definitely "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was blessed (and sometimes cursed.. :) ) with so many of them, I cannot recall only specific one right now. I guess life in general is a pretty amazing thing I do constantly..

Teach, Learn, Share

Hebrew teaching
[English teaching - if your English's worse than mine ;-)]
Partner dancing - mainly Blues/Salsa/Swing
Basic piano playing

...and one 'professional' secret I'll turn in about myself: It is very easy to buy me with good food.. (I'm a horrible cook, I admit.. :-) )

Countries I’ve Visited

United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
