Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
2 Vancouverite recent university graduates choosing to gain cultural knowledge and spend summer 2011 in Europe!
ABOUT ME
You've got Julie and Kelly here! After graduating last May, I (Julie) have been working as a marketing specialist saving money for our trip to Europe this summer. Kelly has just graduated this May.
This summer we will be traveling all over Europe! We both love travel and adventure, but thus far haven't been able to travel a whole lot (since we've only just finished school). We are both very interested in learning other about other cultures and meeting new people.
PHILOSOPHY
Work to live, not live to work. A goal is to put a certain amount of money away each paycheque so that we will have enough to go on a fantastic new adventure every year. Time passes so quickly, and so we always try to enjoy every moment.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are new! After returning from Europe this summer, we will definitely want to host guests! We feel it is a great way to meet new people and learn about other cultures.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Both Kelly and I have not had a CouchSurfing experience... yet! This is really an excellent idea, and seems like a great community, so we are very excited to get involved in the future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
We went on a BC road trip two summers ago. Went zip-lining in Whistler BC. I (Julie) am somewhat afraid of heights, so this was an accomplishment!
Another (I know it only asks for one) is experiencing the Olympics in Vancouver February 2010! Truly an amazing experience.
