Overview
About Me
I am independent, respectful, grateful, and have simple needs. I love living a seasonal lifestyle and don't mind packing up and changing my scenery. I'm currently working in a tiny desert town on the Utah/Arizona border, and can't wait to get back to a Caribbean winter.
My work history is mostly in food and beverage.
I'm a morning person and love dawn for walking, yoga and meditation
Meeting new people, learning new cultures, getting lost in a new town, falling in love, trying new foods, dancing, music and laughing...these things keep me alive
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing has connected me with some amazing people. There is nothing like arriving in a new city, out of your element, and being welcomed in by another generous human
I love to meet new people, learn to live like a local, and share my spirit. I always hope to bring a smile to the people in my life
Interests
Barefoot as much as possible.

The most profound growth occurs outside your comfort zone. Just acknowledge the fear and work with it. Amazing things will happen, trust in the magic.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a little bit of everything and I love discovering new jams. Indie rock, soca and calypso, folk, pop... :) and I'd love to hear what you're listening to!
I can never find anything to watch on cable, but sometimes I just love a good Netflix binge. I like to catch the Late Show with Colbert and the Nightly News on YouTube.
Won't watch horror flicks
I love to read, and enjoy exploring a lot of topics. I usually just grab best sellers at the thrift store and see where it takes me.
I like podcasts and subscribe to Jay Shetty's On purpose, Ryan Holiday's Daily Stoic, Jordan Harbinger, and Mel Robbins just to name a few.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Learned to captain a 37' inflatable raft through some of the toughest rapids in the world through Grand Canyon. I've logged almost 50 trips so far.
I've also had the courage to follow my heart and listen to that little voice inside that led me down the unconventional path. No marriage, no kids, no real estate.

Teach, Learn, Share
I know a lot about the Grand Canyon, living in a van, St Croix island in the Caribbean, and I'm a pretty good cook and bartender.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm positive, practical, and friendly. I can cook a meal, clean up after myself, and totally respect your space.
