About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Mission: visit new places, eat strange foods, meet interesting people!

ABOUT ME

I was bitten - hard - by the travel bug. Now I'm living in my own personal dream come true... traveling, learning, meeting new people and having amazing experiences.

PHILOSOPHY

Gotta be happy. Make mistakes, learn, move on, and never regret.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm pretty new to the couch surfing experience, but would love to become an expert!

Interests

I am interested in so many things. It's tough to narrow it down, but I usually like to learn something from everyone I meet (the best way to cook eggs, how to parallel park, how to be more organized, or even some helpful phrases in another language!)
I read a lot of books, listen to a lot of music, and will always love hearing and sharing recommendations for both.

Music, Movies, and Books

Everything. If you recommend it I will listen to and/or read it. I may not enjoy it but will do my best to try and see the appeal.
I really like folk and independent alternative music, as well as different rock and synth stuff. Yeasayer, Dan Mangan, Hawksley Workman, Tragically Hip, Hey Rosetta!, Modest Mouse, the Eels, and the list goes on...
As for books.... anything with a good story, a good back story, a colourful cover, big pictures or an interesting premise I can get through and enjoy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once saw a monkey riding a dog. It's true. Wasn't even in the circus.
I've been to 5 continents, seen sunsets and sunrises from several different oceans, more crowds than I can shake a stick at, and as much open space as I've wanted. Life's been good so far.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to learn as much about everything as I can, and I can share with you what I've picked up so far, but I'm sadly not a master in anything.

Countries I’ve Visited
