COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't hosted myself yet due to my living situation, but I've been hosted by so many great people and a lot of my friends have surfers all year round so I've met quite a bit of people that way. I spent three months in the States last year and was lucky enough to be hosted through my entire trip.

Interests

I'm a big fan of documentary films and things like guerilla gardening, free food (dumpster diving, picking and growing food for yourself (and friends)), podcasts and music that makes me feel like I'm a sixteen year old with a broken heart. I've been active in different alternative gardening projects in Copenhagen and I love learning new things and being challenged by the opinions of others. I enjoy people who have strange quirks or live their life in alternative ways!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most things about teenage problems or life crisis. My favorites tend to change, but here are some stuff I've enjoyed lately.
Books: 1Q84, Eating Animals, Norwegian Wood, A History of Love.
Movies: The Dreamers, The Virgin Suicides, Garden State, No Impact Man, Drive, Lost in Translation, Man on Wire, The Intouchables.
Music: Neutral Milk Hotel, Cold Specks, The XX, Bon Iver and Andrew Jackson Jihad.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't climbed a mountain, jumped off a cliff or kissed a lion - but I have cleared a dance floor in Paris to show off my only breakdance move and gotten free champagne by convincing people I was getting married while wearing a superhero costume.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy learning anything. Useful or not useful (even though everything might come in handy at some point). I would love to learn more about gardening - especially when it comes to things you can eat. Music recommendations are always welcome and learning to cook more vegan food is also a priority. I can teach some kick-ass vegetarian dishes by now.
