ABOUT ME

My name is Juliee. I'm I crave adventure and love to learn. I'm passionate about my beliefs and I love to discuss ideas and opinions with others. I love to travel and immerse myself in new cultures (I'm really sick of living in the North-American culture).
Currently I'm on my way to becoming a registered nurse, and I'd like to learn more about natural & holistic medicine next... maybe even become a midwife eventually? I want to travel through every continent (starting with South America and Africa) as a nurse working and volunteering. I intend on seeing all the world has to offer by immersing myself in different cultures and discovering their philosophies, traditions, ways of healing, and lifestyles.

(For those of you psychology buffs I'm your typical INFP)

PHILOSOPHY

I very much agree with Ghandi's quote "You must be the change you wish to see in the world." I hope to accomplish this in my own way, through travel nursing.

I believe in equality. I disagree with the ideas of status' dependent on wealth or heritage. I think monarchy and and hierarchy should be obsolete. Human rights should be addressed more seriously on a global level.

Being a real person is essential; you should not be praised for conforming to what society expects of you. Make a difference, do something you stand for. I won't be impressed by your fancy degree or fancy new car or any of your fancy things unless you're doing something meaningful.

I'm a strong believer in the law of attraction and karma. I believe in the power of the subconscious: thoughts become things. If you practice 'the attitude of gratitude' good things will come your way.

兴趣

I'm Interested in learning all the things. I love art. Making it, seeing it, experiencing it. Particularly painting. I love learning about different cultures and way of life, and am especially interested in indigenous culture. I'm interested in healthy, clean, living; and keeping this planet beautiful.
I am also interested in the simple things like tea, yoga, mary-jane, reading, writing, visiting museums and historical places, bicycling, hiking, baking, cooking, and jogging. I love traveling, especially spontaneous adventures.

My favourite Movies are: Avatar, Almost Famous, Yellow Submarine, the Planet Earth series, The Business of Birth, Life in a Day.

Some of the things I can teach and share are:
English, cooking Italian food (even though I'm not Italian... this is the cuisine I've perfected the most), and natural remedies of all sorts.
I would like to learn:
-More natural remedies and alternative medicine
-any new cuisine and/or language
-tips and tricks for the garden/farming
....generally I would like to learn anything you are an expert on because learning new things is something I thoroughly enjoy.
