ABOUT ME

I am a 55 year old mum and have an 11 year old son. My son is unusually articulate for his age and he mixes well with adults and kids. We like doing all sorts of things, but we travel slow. Which doesn't mean that we will overstay on your couch!

PHILOSOPHY

I am increasingly fond of people! And love conversation and understanding other people's ways of life. Fintan and I are both interested in Buddhism. We try to practice mindfulness when think about it!

Have a small but welcoming house and a comfy sofa. We went on a big trip a few years ago and our 3 couch surfs were the best experiences we had.

My big interests are mental health care and history. Fintan loves science and reading and star wars Wii game.

I like reading serious books but don't make enough time for it. Fintan reads a lot but it is hard sometimes to find the right sort of things for him to read!

We learn all the time while we travel and we love to meet people who will teach us - photography, languages, local history, literature, art, etc. And we will try to share our experiences, local knowledge, etc with couch surfers who stay with us.
