About Me

I grew up in the mountains of Upstate New York and fled south to the Miami sunshine to study. I love biking, hiking, running, looking at maps, listening to and playing music, and singing! I also really, really love trains.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to see new places and meet new people. I also love listening to and learning from anyone and everyone.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love to open myself to all music, but emo and folk rock are my favorite. Also love punk, pop punk, country, classic/soft/ grunge rock, and "the 80s, 90s, 70s, & today", as the radio station I grew up listening to put it. I will go and see any music live. Nothing beats live music.

Some music off the top of my head...Against Me!, The Hotelier, Rainer Maria, Pearl Jam, Sun Kil Moon, Sunny Day Real Estate, Jets To Brazil

Documentaries. As for TV...Chewing Gum, The Office, Bob's Burgers, Bojack Horseman, and F if For Family

Again, with short attention span, I'm not huge on books either. I do really enjoy A Walk In The Woods by Bill Bryson and Into The Wild by John Krakauer. And Search Inside Yourself by Chade Meng-Tan.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you very minimal guitar and intermediate piano!

If you know how to play music, I will always sing along.

I would love to learn more Spanish, more French, and any other languages you happen to know. I'm also always looking to learn more simple guitar songs!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I make really good smoothies...I can cook you a big diner-style 'American Breakfast'...I can tell some weird travel stories if you want to hear stories!
