Grad student, vegetarian, and lover of all things outdoors. My immense love for learning and exploring has led me to have some wonderful adventures in incredible places. Born and raised in Muskoka, Ontario, and currently living in Waterloo.

I'm not one to pass up an opportunity to try new things, meet new people, or jump outside of my comfort zone. I'm a big fan of hiking, scuba diving, climbing, and surfing. I also love cooking, crafts, cheese, and dogs.

I'm curious, and I love to learn. I'm going into my second year of graduate studies at the University of Waterloo, studying tourism - which is basically just an excuse to keep travelling. My research interests include pro-poor tourism, Arctic tourism, and qualitative methodologies.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I've never used couchsurfing before during my travels, but I have always wanted to. I think it's an amazing way to meet new people and experience new environments and cultures.

My goal in the next year or so is to be able to be a host in Waterloo, Ontario. For now, I'm down for coffee hangouts and hikes if anyone is in the area.

Movies: All-time favourite is The Guardian (with Ashton Kutcher & Kevin Costner). I also love Pitch Perfect, Guardians of the Galaxy, and any disney movie!

Books: Favourite is The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho. Also on the Hunger Games bandwagon. :)
