Grad student finishing up my dissertation. I am planning to travel abroad and around the USA summer and fall of 2018, visiting friends, doing workaways and exploring before I get tied down! I will also be interviewing for post-grad jobs (*crosses fingers*).

I have an amazing dog that I don't deserve and I will have her with me while I'm in the US. She is a goofy, but very calm dog who just wants to make friends with every person she meets.

I don't have a set itinerary but will be looking for short stays with hosts while I am coordinating more permanent housing or just passing through.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm uprooting myself from Washington, DC. I've always wanted to live out west, and somewhere rural, and perhaps both. I'd love to make some new friends, sharing life stories over beers or food.

I am happy to put up my tent in your yard! We are very comfortable camping. I'm just looking for something less rustic so I can do some work during the day.
