I am singer-songwriter (Julie Sunflower + Økobandet) and I'm an independent videographer living in Roskilde - not far from Copenhagen, Denmark. I care about the environment and I love to be creative and meet new people.

Some of my favorite things to do include:
- Climbing (trees, rocks, anything)
- Dancing
- Playing music and listening to music at mic nights or concerts
- Sharing good moments with friends
- Sewing new clothes out of old ones

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Current trip: Berlin from march 29th to april 7th - looking for hosts/meetups. :)

I love meeting people and making friends when I travel. Couchsurfing is the beauty of the internet and I am so grateful that it exists. I might be able to host in the future, but currently I'm spending my social energy on building local friendships and finding time for family and friends. I also like attending meetups. I play concerts now and then - so feel free to follow me: Julie Sunflower (my solo project) and Økobandet (band).

Interests

My interests are videography, photography, DIY-projects, playing music, dancing, green living, climbing and meeting people. I am active in the Nordic folk music community, and I love to jam with my guitar, shaker and learning new songs to sing.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last spring I found a toad outside and I brought it inside to show it to my boyfriend. I was so certain I had just found my new pet. Then it peed all over me. Other amazing things I've done: I have found a boyfriend who accepts that I bring random animals inside.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn:
I wish to learn how to finish things I have started.

Teach:
I can teach you the basics of spinning yarn on a spinning wheel with raw wool.

Share:
I can play a pirate song about a girl who wants to grow up to become a pirate, so she can steal rum from enemies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love talking and seeing your view on your city and area. I love picking up the guitar and singing, and I'm good at figuring out fun events to attend together. I am good at cooking plant based and vegetarian meals.
