I'm Julien, 27 yo. I'm quite introverted but always willing to spend time with other people to talk about travelling experiences, cultural differences, sports, ...

My passions are sport and travel.
I’m playing table tennis in competition and started running in 2018. I also like doing other sports from time to time: skiing, tennis, swimming, football, kayaking, climbing, ...
I enjoy watching football and tennis on tv.
Of course I also like the usuals as reading, watching series, spending time with friends, drinking beers, ...

My passion for travelling really started during my Erasmus in Warsaw in 2015 and now I’m using abroad running races (mostly half marathons) as a great excuse to travel :D
Already ran 20km of Brussels (Belgium), Plitvice half marathon (Croatia), Wigry Pogon za bobrem (Poland), and already booked Krakow half marathon (Poland) and Ljubljana half marathon :)
Since my Erasmus exchange, I feel like Poland is my 2nd home country :D

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

My Erasmus in Warsaw opened my mind about traveling so I'd like to discover new places around the world and meet locals.
I use Couchsurfing to meet locals and really experience the destination I’m visiting with a local point of view.
I really like to share travelling experience and learn about the people hosting me :)

Musik, Filme und Bücher

One of my favorite film is "The Pursuit of Happyness" but I mostly appreciate sci-fi films/series. Cartoons are always appreciated by my child soul :D
I loved reading Harry Potter in my childhood and I'm now into Marc Werber and Maxime Chattam.
There's not so much to tell about music. My routine consists in opening Spotify and playing any Happy playlist to enlight my days :)

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

Till now my best experience was my Erasmus in Warsaw in 2015-2016. I partied more than ever, met a lot of great people and learnt much about myself.
If you're thinking about Erasmus, just do it. You'll grow a lot as a person during this experience.
