Hi ! I'm Julien, 28 years old and I'm french.

Since my teenage years, I've been dreaming about travelling, explore, go further and see more. Then I started studying, even though I managed to visit some locations on my own during these years (Dublin, Stockholm, Newcastle...). But now, I want something more than juste a couple of days in a big city with friends, I want a journey.

I'm reaching a period of my life where I have the opportunity and the resources to travel, and I'm taking this window !

From November 17th, I'm leaving alone to Iceland, the destination I chose for this trip.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to use Couchsurfing to meet new people, travelers but mostly locals and natives who can show their home (Iceland) and their culture.

I'll be housed in a youth hostel at Reykjavík on the first week of my trip, and I want to use this time to meet new people to talk to, to show me around and to give me some advices and tips (like what to see, what to buy/not buy, how to go from a point to another), and of course learning from them about icelandic culture, traditions and history.

After this first week, I don't know yet what I'll be doing or where I'll be. I'll be searching for wwoofers or by WorkAway to travel around the country, or maybe stay a little longer in Reykjavik, if couchsurfers accept to host me for a couple of days.

Working with child, I love to learn and share what I know (which is about a vast expense of shallow knowledge), but as a foreigner I could teach french grammar and conjugation (and I'm good at it)

I'm willing to learn everything you have to teach, from local history to the quantic intrication of a black hole.
