Julien : I think the first step to describing me would be to say I'm much interested in ecology. Starting from this point, I got to various other directions I'm exploring in my way of living : trying to live in harmony with my environment, trying to be content with as few as possible, sharing my surpluses and do things myself rather than wait for the world to do it for me. To explore all this, I read a lot and spend some energy in various associations.

Julien : I like to meet people and talk about their way of life and culture. Mainly hosting since I am not a great traveler : foreign countries come to me with my hosts.

I devote some times in volunteer activities in ecological association : a local one inspired by the Transition movement and a national one spreading energy/climate kwnoledge (Avenir Climatique : http://avenirclimatique.org/).
I'm also investigating non violent communication and try to apply it in my daily life.
I have no garden at the moment but I experiment in several pots.
Also spending times with family and friends, but I'm far from most of them.

Books :
I have a strong science-fiction background dating from my first 10 reading years. I still love it but I have diversified my readings. I now read lots of books on environnement , self development (non violent communication, time managing, etc.) and essays. I also read frequently some classicals (French and English mainly) and enjoy some tales from time to time and some other things (historical books, philosophy).

Music :
- popular music : from 1950 to december the 8th 1980 (mainly famous rock bands or singers), few things before and after
- classical : Chopin, Lizst, Beethoven, Schubert, Rachmaninov, Tchaïkovsky, Moussorgsky, Mahler, etc.
- struggling to play the piano

Films : quite disconnected, I go very rarely to the cine by myself : let's say I like the films my friends get me to see.

Can talk a lot (at your own risks) on climate and energy (peak oil, etc.) and ecology in general.
Some notions on many subjects in my library (economics, agriculture, history, management, personnal development, etc.)
Struggling to manage the best I can both my time and my 24 persons team during work time and eager to learn more on how to do it.
Willing to learn anything from you that may improve, on the long run, my self, my everyday life, my relations to others, or the world ;-)
