About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel through Italy by bike and have at least one decent conversation in Italian.

ABOUT ME

If I would like to sum up my favourite activity I would probably say: laughing :D I like to laugh a lot, especially when I can enjoy it with other people :) So when you will meet me you can expect to have a very funny time!

In general I am open for nearly all cultures and human beings as long as their ideas are based on mutual respect and understanding. As a student of Political Science you have to be aware that I enjoy discussing political subjects. But studying that subject teaches one a lot about the complexity of things, so do not expect any patronizing lectures from my side ;)

I'm also a big fan of sports, especially football and martial arts, languages, cinema and literature. So in case you are looking for someone who appreciates a good book tip from your home-country, you want to teach me some catch-phrases from your mother tonque or with whom you would like to discuss whether Beckenbauer, Fachetti or Carlos Alberto were the best defenders of all time, than I'm your man :)

As I have been studying abroad for more than 2 years and I've met a lot of international people along the way and got to know quiet interesting biographies. Mine is not so interesting, but I think I have a way to tell stories about myself in a quiet entertaining manner.

I have been travelling a lot in Europe, Australia and a bit in the Americas. Still there are many places spread all over the world I would like to see someday.

At the moment I am cycling around Italy, looking for a host who could convincingly explain the meaning of "La Grande Belezza" ( I was watching it in Italian with Polish subtitles and so did not understand most of it)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have just moved into a new flat in Konstanz, in the South of Germany. Right now I do not know whether I can accept guests, I still have to speak to my new flatmates ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I haven't started to couchsurf before this year, my girlfriend introduced me to it. But I've already been guests twice and whish to host someone for the first time. During some of my trips I did couchsurfing without couchsurfing so to say. That meant I surfed on peoples chouches who did not have a couchsurfing account. Probably the most interesting thing I have ever did.

Music, Movies, and Books

I never liked this question since there are many kind of Music, Movies or Books that I like a lot. But here is a list of the last two albums/movies/books I listened to/watched/read

- Die Kunst der Fuge, (J.S. Bach) / A Todo Cuba Le Gust (Afro-Cuban All Stars)
- This is Spinal Tap / Shark in Venice (with Steven Baldwin, the less famous brother of Alec Baldwin)
- The Corpse Walker (Liao Yiwu) / The leopard (Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa)
