Some words, which do not exist in French, my native language, help describe my inner universe :

Lebesnkünstler : "this term connotes a person who approaches life with the zest and inspiration of an artist, although he or she may not be working recognizably as an artist."

"Yugen" : "an awareness of the Universe that triggers emotional responses too deep and powerful for words."

"Awe" : a feeling of both fascination and terror in front of life's grandiose manifestations.

A word which only exists in French language ? "Dépaysé" ! It means being confused and lost by a change of place, habit. Literally, the word means "de-countryied" : you lose some of your native identity, some of your national automatisms, by being somewhere else. That's quite how I feel : only some bits of my mind are French now, it has become a mosaïc of different influences, which make me feel like a stranger, a wonderer, wherever I find myself, Paris, Périgueux, Delhi, Hanoï, marketplace, river, daytime, night time, the same : a bit of a foreigner, a bit of a local, everywhere, anytime. I never fit in, yet I always relate, somehow.

As you might have guessed already, languages play an important part in my explorations and questionnings.

If you're into astrology : I'm the typical acquarius (except for the technologically innovative bit - I'm quite the opposite, I never owned a smartphone for example :).
