ABOUT ME
I'm pretty chilled. My party days are over and I prefer to spend my time outside, walking in the forest, camping, hiking, surfing or simply sitting on the beach, on the top of a mountain or around a campfire. In saying that, I'm well able to throw off the shoes and boogie on the dancefloor at a good party. In the past a big passion of mine was travelling. I have travelled for many years, learning about different cultures and meeting new people. These days I'm feeling much more settled in Éire and feel less paniced by the size of the earth and every inch of it I need to explore. I love to chat. I love silence. I absolutely love animals and have a huge respect for nature and Mother Earth. Of late I have immersed myslef in the art gardening, growing my own food, foraging for wild foods and preserving and storing for the cold winter months ahead. I love cooking. Theres nothing like enjoying a wholesome home cooked meal with old or new friends. I love to laugh! Music is also really important to me. My taste in music is very eclectic & I appreciate anyone with musical or artistic talent. I love to sing in the shower. I like to smile & say hello to strangers - mostly with good response! :0) I am not reglious but spirtuality and my place in the world is important to me.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm a big believer in Karma. I believe we are all one. Treat people as you wish to be treated. What you do to others and Mother Earth, you do to yourself. You create your own reality. Gratitude creates abundance. World Peace starts with me. Smile!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Over the past decade of travelling the world (on and off) I have been astounded at how hospitable people have been. People I've just bumped into have welcomed me into their homes with no hesitation. Whenever and wherever possible I have tried to return the favour to other travellers. This has been on an informal basis. Through CS I have stayed with a few hosts up the north west coast of Ireland the summer before last. I am finally settled in a little home and would like to open it up to fellow couchsurfers.

Music, Movies, and Books
Yes, yes & yes please but it has to be thought provoking - no mindless rubbish for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The world!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have been surfing for years though lack of consistency in waves and sheer lack of enthusiasm for getting into the cold water on a blustery day means I am not very good. I am very happy to teach you how to be a not very good surfer also!
I am passionate about using herbs and nutrition to cure what ails you. I often make simple remedies and cosmetics from the herb garden, wildflowers or other bits and pieces that can be found in your kitchen cupboard.
I am happy to share my knowledge on gardening and permaculture. We had hoped to have built a hot tub by now but time is flying by and the garden and allotment are taking most of our spare days.
