Overview
About Me
Hi there! I’m a medical student who travels, or a traveler who happens to be in medical school. Trying to see as much of the world as I can while I’m here! I've been to 13 countries so far, and 26 states in the US. Med school makes it hard to travel but I'm determined! My next stops are Washington DC in March and April, and NZ/OZ in June. So very excited, hope to meet you on my way! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m in my fourth year of medical school but I'm a traveler at heart! I hope you'll excuse my bare profile and lack of references, I signed up for this site years ago but I mostly use hostels and airbnb's when I travel. As I get older I'm realizing I like the one-on-one connection that comes with couchsurfing, and the opportunity to spend my time with someone who knows the area and has personal connections/activities/knowledge about the city I'm visiting. I love chatting with people who have stories and history in the city I'm staying in, I think you learn more about the world that way!
Interests
I'm interested in.. well.. everything! I love trying new things and doing them poorly because I don't know what I'm doing. Haha. I love anything creative (painting, dancing, singing, etc) but I don't do anything often enough to do it well. Always up for some time in nature or some live performances, and while I don't mind being in chaotic public spaces I think my favorite things involve quiet alone time.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music — anything piano based, or acoustic. Also 90’s music!
Books — too many to list. The Psychopath Test is one of my favorites though!
Movies — not much of a movie person, generally a fan of comedies and adventure films!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
How to pick one? I’ve had a pretty amazing life so far, and I credit that mostly to luck and to having some pretty incredible people in my life.
Some highlights — seeing the Northern lights in Iceland, staying at the Treehouse Hostel in Nicaragua, getting Dengue Fever in Thailand. Life is crazy!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Quiet company or an adventure buddy, I'm pretty flexible!
