About Me
I grew up in Calgary, but California made me who I am today. I got a degree in Chemistry, but then decided that I didn't want to spend the rest of my life inhaling fumes, so now I'm working in business development at an up-and-coming pharmaceutical company. I've dabbled in a random assortment of activities including, but not limited to: rugby, piano, hockey, a cappella & painting. Somewhere along the way, I decided to embark on a lifelong journey to find the most delicious chocolate chip cookie. My current obsession is climbing rocks, both with and without ropes.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm taking a solo adventure to Amsterdam! I would love to meet people who would be able to show me around this beautiful city so I can see what it's all about. Not to mention that as much as I enjoy getting beer by myself, I'd always love a buddy to come with.
Music, Movies, and Books
Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I climbed a 60-foot vertical rock face and survived. Sure, that's not exceptional within the rock-climbing community by any means, but I'm certainly pretty damn proud of it.
Teach, Learn, Share
I've experienced enough to consider myself (at the very least) a mildly interesting person. At the same time, I know I haven't experienced enough to ever stop wanting to learn more. Everyone's experience is unique, and I want to hear and learn as much as I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Beer & good conversation. Maybe I'll cook you dinner and do the dishes. I'll even teach you piano, considering that I was classically trained for something like 15 years. Although I'm sure my playing is now magnificently sub-par, I still know a thing or two.

Belgium, China, France, Greece, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom
