About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To live a life of intent led by an aligned mind and heart.
ABOUT ME
I am American of Mexican descent. I embrace both cultures fervently and with pride, for I believe in the power of diversity.
I am a strong admirer of beauty, as it is expressed in nature, music, art and the intellect. I am profoundly in love with music, classical, above all, but love to explore all types. I also believe in love, I am a hopeless romantic. My romanticism extends beyond the "relationship" sort, and is more about life and all it has to offer. It is less about trying to find the "right person" and has become more of an ideology with which I approach life, i.e., Life is love, romance it!
I believe in the goodness of mankind, but I'm not naive.
Recently my friends have been telling me that I am a very "wise" person. Not sure what that means, but I am throwing it in there as a third person's point of view.
Never been married, no children. Single at the moment.
PHILOSOPHY
Life is too long to be the same person always. Our purpose in life is not found but created.

Interests
I am a latin dancer, salsa and tango and other dances. I love to read; among my favorite books are: Tinisima (Poniatowska, Mexican), The Elegance of the Hedgehog (Barbery, French), The Red Tent (Diamant, American), Los Cuentos de Eva Luna (Allende, Chilean)--to name a few.
I am in love with New York City and on my way to settling there.
I enjoy long profound conversations where I can get to truly know you.
I love to sing and am currently looking for a Latin Jazz trio/band to sing with in NYC or elsewhere in Europe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Connecting with amazing people.
Teach, Learn, Share
I believe in tolerance and positive feedback. Never negative, never destructive. What goes around comes around. My ears and eyes are always open. Everyone has something to teach me and I am open to that!
In practical terms, I am an English teacher and will be more than happy to be an English tutor for my host, if he/she so desires. I also enjoy being a mentor for young people trying to figure out their career paths and I am always willing to hear you out and provide my humble but most sincere opinion.
I love talking about philosophy and religion and exploring man's role in the world.
And given that I love music, I am down to performing ANYTIME with ANYONE who loves to indulge in the beauty of music!
