For much of the year, we are passionate about our jobs as a high school English teacher and a mechanic. Then, we take a break and learn for ourselves by traveling to new places. We embrace serendipity along the way and have renewed outlooks on life before we hit the trenches again.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I, Juliet, was introduced to CS very recently by a German friend. I became an instant fan and joined as soon as I returned home from my Couch Surfing visit in Sicily. Since then, I have been recommending CS to many interested kindred-spirits. My husband and I look forward to welcoming surfers to our home in Wisconsin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

CS in Catania, Sicily has been my only experience. Meeting my host's friends, sharing his favorite beaches, and eating Sicilian food were some of the best experiences during my six-weeks of European travel.
