About Me

I'm Juliette, a booklover, an eternal dreamer, a fan of travel.
I love learning new cultures and their traditions. I'm very open and I like to taste the local food and know the local people where I travel. I'm always ready to cook a tyical canadian meal because I love to share my own culture as well.

I'm studying in journalism right now because I care about what's happening in our world and I'm very curious.
Also, I like learning new languages. I'm already fluent in French (which is my maternal language) and English and I'm currently learning Spanish.

In brief, I like life, exploring the world and meet new people, I can't wait to know you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because I like the idea of sharing, it allows us to know other travelers and locals as well. I like to speak with the locals when I travel, because I'm very curious, and it's the main idea of Couchsurfing, it's amazing!

Interests

I have a lot of interests. First, would you be surprised if I told you that I love traveling? Not really? I won't tell you then, you can guess by yourself.
Other than that, I'm a booklover. I read many kinds of books, but especially historical novels.
I love photography, the fact that photography let us keep a second for eternity is amazing.
I'm a very crafty person, I like drawing, doodling, scpabooking and many more!
I also love outdoor activities, because I love nature. Hiking is a wonderful way to discover a country, a region. I can also walk for hours in a city I've nerver been before.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've done.....
When I was 15 years old, I left my family and friends to go learn English in another family, at 5 hours of plane from where I live, for 3 months. That experience was amazing, but it took a lot of courage to leave. I think it's since that time that I want to travel all my life, everywhere in the world.

Teach, Learn, Share

Did you know that one of the 10 canadian provinces, Québec, is French-speaking, unless the rest of the country? I was born there and I lived there all my life, that's why French is my first language!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share the canadian culture with hosts, I can cook a typical canadian meal and we can have conversations about our own cultures, traditions... There is so much to share and talk about!

Countries I’ve Visited
