ABOUT ME

I have just moved from a flat to a house, and am currently in the UK until April 2015, so sadly I can't host anyone until I return home. But my new house has a spare room so when I get back I'll update my profile and hope to have lots of people to stay!

PHILOSOPHY

I love travelling and meeting people from all over the world. Having already travelled a fair amount and met so many lovely people, it makes me happy knowing that I can go and visit them all over the world. I guess couch surfing will open that up even more!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have a spare room with a bed and am happy to have anyone to stay. As soon as I get some time off work, I plan to get surfing!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have hosted loads of people, most of whom have been really amazing! If I'm not too busy with work, then I love hanging out and doing some Durban stuff. Haven't surfed with anyone yet. Looking forward to it!

Interests

Swimming in the sea, making smoothies, reading books, currently reading autobiography by Ranulph Fiennes (fascinating), walking on the beachfront or in the local nature reserves, watching movies, voluntary work in Durban, learning Spanish.

Independent films, Spanish films, Atom Egoyan, any books, although currently into autobiographies. Currently getting into classical music, though love live music of any variety.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have ever done is walk the Camino in northern Spain. I walked from Logrono to Santiago, 635km in 3 and a half weeks. It was kinda life changing. And I met the most amazing people. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
