ABOUT ME

Hey!
I am Juliette and no, I still haven't met my Romeo… I am 23 and I come from Britanny, France west coast, where it's supposed to be always rainy.
I came to Paris when I was 19 for my studies. I have been studying graphic design for 5 years. I get my diploma at the end of my fourth year and my fifth year was a during which I worked at Circo de Bakuza, a little creative studio in the center of Paris. What I love about my job is that we create stories, we are storytellers, storydoers. There is as many stories to tell that there is people to listen

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

For now I had two couchsurfing experience.
The first one was in Oslo in 2012 with my bestfriend. He used to couchsurf but it was the first time for me so I was really excited but a kinda shy too. We slept 2 nights in a 5persons apartment. They were from east Europe. We had a really good time with this guys. We hunged up once with them, it was a lot of fun. I hosted one of the girl when she came to Paris few months later.
my second experience was fabulous. It was in Stockholm in summer 2013, with my bestfriend again. We met a guy who knew a lot of things about his city and his country. He make boat and went to a little island, i learned a lot of things. I think this human experience make me fall in love for this city. That's why I want to go back there and found a job.

Interests

What I like the most is to laugh. I love my friends and of course my family. I love travels since I am a young girl, I like adventure, make new friends, taste new meat. I like watching people interacting at exhibitions, I love wandering the streets in Paris at night and (invent stories about people living in the light-window apartment) tell to myself stories about people living in the buildings. I like to be passionate, and like people who are so.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to dance, so I like music. I love a huge bunch of music, from the music my parents used to listen when I was a kid, to experimental electronic music.
Movies… What can I say about that? I like movies, I am a very easy public, that's all :)
Books:
I love reading. One of my dream is to have a beautiful library in my house with a lot of old collection books.
I like thriller. My favorite books are Miserer from Grange, a french thriller author. And I also like Th eparfum, from suskind, well I particulary love the beginning.
I am a dreamer so I love to read, more than to watch movie, because I need to be really concentrate to enter the story. And I have to use my imagination, have to create sounds, smells in my mind.
What I don't like with movies is that it's too busy, it doesn't let you the time to imagine anything. I like watching movies when I don't want to make an effort.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

This summer I bought a stuffed piranha in a second-hand boutique. He is standing on my library. It's called Samy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can try to teach you "the power of visual communication", help you with Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator.

I would like to learn to speak swedish and to cook swedish specialities. I love cooking!
