About Me
Hi!
I'm Juliette, I grew up in a small village in the middle of the countrysidethat is why I naturally love the nature. I am not an extrovert person but I'm curious about people and like to discuss with them. I'm a student in Palaeontology (the science of fossils and extinct species), I like the animals, I play guitar and I like martial arts (but may be I have to stop with my interests because there is a special part below). As I am a student, it's complicated for me to host people because I live in a room/studio so I don't have many place but I will enjoy to meet you for some hours and in case of emergency I can offer you aplace to sleep with a roof. I'm not fluent in English but my english is not so bad, I can also communicate in German and Spanish but it's more difficult so if your mother tong is German or Spanish I'll be happy to practice!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to know people who lives in each place I go, I think it's the best way to have an authentic trip. I think also it's a good way to learn more about the differents culture and country which are often different from what the medias present us. Meeting differents people whith differents way of think opens the mind and makes you more tolerent. Also I like this "backpacker spirit" which allows everybody to travel.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like original books (or film) that make you thinking (but I often think about books/music/film which are not done for that, for me Harry Potter is hightly philosophic). I read more fantastic books but I like also some more "classic books" like "the perfum" from Patrick Süskind or "the stranger" from Albert Camus.
I love Rock music but I'm also curious about all the music from everywhere in the world and I like discover new music. The only music I don't like are Progressive Rock (ok I said I love Rock but not this type) and Techno.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Often before to do something I told me "Wahou it will be amazing!!!" and finally, some month later I told me "It's normal, nothing so difficult" (example: take a train, a fly). I think the most amazing thing I do is when I was 19 and go in Chile to see the Atacama desert.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can tell you many true story about times when whales had legs and birds had teeth (there millions of years ago). I can teach you some things about rocks (not the music, the stones (not the band)) and tell you some story of some landscape.
I can share with you what you want about French culture (food, music, language...)
I can teach you how to play guitar, how to cook a yoghourt cake or a ratatouille
What I Can Share with Hosts
If I have time (and if you want) I can guide you across the town to schow you some interesting places. Otherwise I can just cook you a meal and share informations about my country and the town.
Countries I’ve Visited
Chile, Germany, Greece, Netherlands, Spain
