I do live in a flat next to the city center and also well connected (tram,metro and bus stop outside the building), as a host I understand CS as a way to show hospitality to travellers that perhaps I would not have known otherwise but certainly my place is not a free hotel, 100% of the time I am a busy guy during working day and that means that we need to leave in the early morning and I usually return until the evening and for safety reasons I can’t give you spare keys. I can offer you a couch/bed to sleep, a nice conversation, a glass of wine, and depending on the day maybe I can join on a walk in the evening. I do not expect any souvenir so please do not invest your money on that.
