About Me
Hi! I’m Julio – a curious traveler, open-minded guest, and passionate storyteller. I work as a Guest Services and Finance Operations Manager onboard a cruise ship, which has allowed me to visit over 80 countries across all continents. I live and breathe travel — it’s not just my job, it’s my lifestyle.
I’m originally from Brazil and love learning about different cultures, lifestyles, and perspectives. Whether it’s sharing meals, stories, or just a good laugh, I truly enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life.
I’m respectful, tidy, and always make an effort to adapt to my host’s home and routine. I believe Couchsurfing is about genuine cultural exchange and building global friendships — not just a place to sleep.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To meet kind, interesting people and experience new places through the eyes of locals. I value authentic connections and appreciate the generosity and trust this community is built on. Every host I’ve met has taught me something new — and I hope I can do the same.
Interests
Travel (of course!) and collecting moments from around the world
Roller coasters — I’m a true enthusiast and theme park fan
Music (always up for discovering new tunes or jamming)
Hiking, nature, and long conversations under the stars
Local food, languages, and deep conversations about life
Cultural exchange, personal development, and spontaneous adventures
As someone who lives most of the year at sea, I deeply appreciate the warmth and hospitality of locals wherever I go. I always travel with care, gratitude, and a big smile. I’d love to be part of your Couchsurfing experience — whether as a guest or just for a coffee and good chat.
