About Me

I guess i share with all of you that same out-going and open-minded spirit that drew so many of us to the couch surfing community. I consider myself a patient and down to earth person, although i like to be where the action is.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to discover new places and be in unexpected situations, where you have to be oportunistic and resourceful about yourself to make the experience your best. Therein you make acquaintances with all sorts of people and form friendships from such a diversity of personalities and cultures hardly imaginable. My best memories from life come from the encounters with all the extra-ordinary people that I was lucky enough to cross the way with.

Interests

My hobbies are movies, TV series, reading, sports like running, swimming and cycling, and I play chess. Of course, I enjoy travelling, in part because from learning about other people's lives helps you reflect on your own person.

Teach, Learn, Share

I really like to cook and my preferred cuisines are German, Thai and Mexican dishes. I usually work with recipes that I found in books or the internet, but always add my own touch. So far it has always been delicious.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am always glad to say thank you any way I can. At times I cooked something nice, or bring some beer or such for a relaxed evening of talking about experiences, mostly concerning travelling, like where to go and what to eat.
