I was born and grew up in Munich. Me and my three siblings had a nice childhood in this "million souls village". While I enjoyed the diversity of the big city, I also spent a lot of time with my family in the nature. Till I got 14 I saw many countries surrounding Germany. But since my first trip without my parents the travelbug bit me. I was more than happy when I managed to organize a 3 month exchange with a girl from a calm town in south east France. It really was a new experience to live in a suburban town and I finally got my french together. Getting in touch with local people is the main intention of my travels since then. I improved my english in London and worked in Italy. But the last years of school I started working to get the money for my gap year. All 2015 I counted the days left until my 5 month trip through South East Asia.
Right now I'm studying in Hanover.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get to know the country through its people, personal and cultural exchange is my main interest in traveling. A cheap place to stay isn't too bad neither ;).
