About Me
Hi,
I am Julius.
I am 22 years old and born and raised in germany.
After I finished school, I spent my time working a fulltime casual job to save up some money.
After I quit, I started travelling and after 1 year and 8 months, I arrived in germany about 1 month ago.
On my way, which lead me from Australia, over Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam all the way to southern China and Japan, I ran into quite a few new friends, faces, cultures and societies, I got to share my time with.
Taking part in their lifes and sharing their visions and perspectives could add a lot to my understanding and I am very happy about that.
Even though I have to admit that I tend to be a very quiet person at times, and I am not the most convenient talker myself, I am always happy to listen.
And if you hit me in the right spot (topicwise), I think I am able to have quite good conversation, too.
I know that this is quite few information but I hope it is enough to be given a chance to find out about me, for one's self.
PS:
(After many attempts, it remains a mystery to me how a lot of people are able to fill these profile requirements.
For me this represents a big problem because I find it very hard and I don't really like this urge, to define myself.
Even though I use to be in a constant and honest reflection with me and my actions, I don't want to write it down for you right here, right now, as if I would have it all figured out.
I am still finding out myself and you never know when you will be taught the last lesson about yourself.
Keeping this in mind, trying to tell someone About Me, feels like kind of cageing myself into a glasshouse.
But of course I can understand that it is necessary to give a general idea of who I am, so I tried to manage as good as I can ;).)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I won't lie to you here.
Of course saving costs whilst travelling makes up a big factor for me to try getting around by using the CS- network and I assume it will not be different to anyone else (at least if he/ she is using it as a guest).
Nevertheless I have not had much experience with it yet
and I hope beeing honest about this will not lead one to judge me right away. Because on the other hand I just love the concept.
It is a great way to get different people together and discover the world and our life in it, with them. It is to learn about each other in order to learn about ones self.
And of course I will not hestitate to become a host myself once I get the chance to offer someone else my own place to stay with me.
Interests
I like all kind of creativity and I am always open to get to know things other people are interested in.
I'd say you can talk to me about basically every topic and even if I am not able to talk about it, I am always happy to listen.
I am not too much of a fan of sightseeing things.
Instead I just like to get lost in a new place and find things as they happen to be on my way.
Walking around, sitting in the park, eating some nice food,... generally speaking: things normal people do.

Music, Movies, and Books
Everything, everything, everything
If there is a vibe to it and leads to something, I like it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Bicycletouring, walking a Pilgrimage
Teach, Learn, Share
I am always happy to share experiences and hope to take away knowledge and advice as well as to be able to provide the same thing to others, if I can.
Besides that I can not claim to have any thing like a special skill I could teach to someone, I think.
But we can share some food :)
Eating alone is not fun, some friend once told me.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Sharing something of myself and the experiences I've had, my help...
Everything I am capable of, as far as my stay allows it and as far as the host is happy with it.
