About Me
26 year old engineering student. Loving sports, nature, traveling and adventures. Besides that I love architecture and teaching myself handy stuff to renovate our farm back at home.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Germans are everywhere. I realized that during my last trips. I love my country and especially my people, but it's almost impossible not to run into one of us it doesn't matter where. So I tried to hang around and stay more with locals and I discovered new places in a completely new way. So after that, I thought I could try the "official" couchsurfing with the couchsurfing community.
(I don't mind to travel with Germans, but just not all the time ^^)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
20 days hitchhiking and bushopping in Western Samoa
They got basically only the Main Coast Roads surrounding each of the two big islands following the coastlines, but neither bus stops or timetables. The bus comes when it comes even the locals are never sure about the buses. We ended up in the back of old pickups, new modern jeeps, small fishing boats, in front of a forklift truck and with thousands of coconuts on a transporter.
The Samoan are the most friendliest and open-minded people and have always a wide smile for visitors. Most of the time the tourists with their big rental cars never gave us a look and just passed us. But the Samoan offered often their help even before we started to hitchhike, when they saw the young guys sweating in the burning sun with their big backpacks lost in the native bush.
