Overview
About Me
Since my graduation I succesfully moved to Berlin and now I live in a nice apartment in the best part of the town: Neukölln.
I studied at a nice north-eastern University in Germany and spent my 2015 ERASMUS in Rome.
Why am I here? - Question of life, but in this case meant more in the local way: I am trying to learn something about the roots of our european culture, about the people living on this lovely planet, learning a new language, getting to know as much people as I can and building as much friendships as possible.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing is the best possibility to meet new people who know their place.
I already did some Roadtrips in my life, where we regularly stayed at hostels, which is also a great way to see the country, but the counter in the Lobby is in most cases the end of the contact with people living in the city one is visiting.
With couchsurfing you can experience the city. Every angle of it. The good ones, the bad ones and the ugly ones. - If you want to.
So as far as I am concerned couchsurfing is the link between open minded people at my destination and myself.
Interests
I like to get to know people from all around the world, hear their stories. The good things they have seen and the bad things. Sharing stories with people from different origins is one of the greatest things.
I like to travel and see the world with my own eyes, so maybe in the end I have a couple of stories to tell myself.
I like to learn new languages. I guess it all started when I learned Latin and Ancient Greek at school, which gave me a completely new view on languages and their structures.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
It is not 'One Amazing Thing'. It is kind of a project a couple of friends and I are running: Every year we spend the days around New Year's Eve in a different city, to see how the people there are celebrating.
So far we have been to: Berlin, London, Athens, Budapest and Lisbon, New Orleans, Morocco.
To be continued.
