Overview
About Me
I am a cis-female first gen american of Mexican and Peruvian parents. I don’t drink or smoke or do drugs. I’m a burned out with moral injury healthcare worker working for a county hospital. Struggling w/ depression. Not practicing jiu Jitsu unfortunately. Just personal training with a trainer/comrade involved in mutual aid efforts. I value honesty, transparency, and accountability.
I participate in mutual aid efforts related with our unhoused population, crippling healthcare system, and currently those impacted by ICE.
I’m currently at low capacity these days.
PLEASE READ WHAT I HAVE TO OFFER BEFORE REQUESTING TO STAY.
If you are cis-male with no reference I unfortunately may not host you. Please let me know what your itinerary is and expectations. I can’t host people for more than 5 days. PLEASE READ BELOW ON WHAT I HAVE TO OFFER.
I will not host people that are homophobic, transphobic, racist, classist, - if you message me to argue about it I will screen shot your message and put it in my pictures.

Music, Movies, and Books
Broad music taste.
Movies: spirited away, Death proof, Anastasia, Fivel Goes West. I mostly watch cartoons and anime. I prefer series over movie.
I mostly read non-fiction books:
Reading: the moment of lift by Melinda gates (awkward to read this after Epstein files release on bill gates)
Read: Can’t Hurt Me by David Goggins, body keeps the score, the stress prescription, dissociation made easy (audio book that I didn’t finish),
Goodreads profile: (just learned goodreads is owned by Amazon so I will be removing this link - I use this app called story graph to track my reads)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
distribution of Monkeypox vaccine in LA: it wasn’t easy and plenty of people were mean to us but knowing we were assisting the community during a historical epidemic. Please be nice to your public servants
(20 something year old me wrote below)
Sound and Fury 2010: Tigers Jaw and BANE. Oxnard backyard show Kids in the streets, on the roof, and packed into a backyard. The surrounding walls of the back yard were lined up with people standing on top. People chanting Bracewar to the intro of the set. Outside kids were in the streets where all you see was cars and tour vans parked in front of every house. People stage diving from t he roof of the house.
Costa Rica: my father jump off a waterfall witch lead me to do the same and I am scared of heights.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: some healthcare stuff
Learn: how to build routine and structure in my life, strength training
Share: Parts of LA. Show you how to take our awful public transportation. Pin point the vegan restaurants. Hardcore punk shows in the area. Skate parks. Mutual aid groups in Los Angeles
What I Can Share with Hosts
I live in my families home. Unfortunately it is not in a neighbor hood that is public transit friendly. You have to walk all the way down the hill in order to catch a bus in Ventura blvd. We have a spare room with a mattress. Parking available on the street. There is a dog and cat on the premises.
I will need to get an okay from my dad and sister to host a guest. We are Hispanic. Be mindful of yourself in the space. Clean up after yourself. Respect the space.
