About Me

I'm a former and future art student :)). Studied Fashion Design in my home town, beautiful Timisoara (that I miss a lot!). Currently living in Tenerife, Canary Islands. Searching for work and trying to promote and sell my creations. (clothes, accessories...name it and I'll make it! :))

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Just thought it would be a good way to meet nice people with whom I share some interests :)

Interests

I love music, partying, socializing in general, traveling to new places, enjoying art and going to exhibitions, creating stuff that is for other people (usually it's more fun when you know that somebody else is gonna wear and appreciate your work), doing stuff that I haven't tried before, I think it's always nice to experience new things, to cultivate your mind and soul.

Music, Movies, and Books

I think I'm the kind of person that listens to mostly anything that I like the sound of. I don't like very commercial music though... I'm rater a hard bass girl... you know...anything between rave, experimental, jungle, hardtek, drum 'n bass, raggatek, but also love "classic" reggae, punk, alternative indie rock or whatever it's called... :))
Movies...I'll watch anything that makes me laugh or dream of distant galaxies or other worlds...soo, comedy, adventure, fantasy, sci-fi, animation, and big fan of mindfuck movies. Don't know if it's a genre, but still big fan! :P
As for books, I go after the same as movies, but also specialty books on sewing, design...art in general.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Is a near death experience something amazing? it turned out awesome in the end, so I guess I can count that in!

Teach, Learn, Share

People nowadays have to lighten up, and stop thinking that if I have a different opinion than you on a topic, that means that we have to fight to see who is right.
In the end we're both right and wrong in so many ways. Life is about learning every day something new and accepting that you weren't born smarter than anyone else. What I definitely have learned, until now, is that you can learn something out of every situation and from everybody that comes your way, even if those people don't even know that they taught you something. I think it's fun to share with other people the things you believe in and hear what they learned out of their experiences.
