ABOUT ME

I am Anna, lover of adventure, seeker of friendship and practitioner of good-will. Being a sagittarius I do not like to stay put. I have traveled to many places and would love to travel to even more. I have enjoyed my experiences in foreign lands where I have connected with the local culture, heard different stories and had a crazy time. Currently I live in Northampton, MA (USA). When I am not traveling I teach yoga and manage a yoga studio, sometimes I work on farms or do other odd jobs. I enjoy writing, doing art and practical crafting. At the moment I am learning how to fly small airplanes and am performing shows with my band. www.beautyfeast4ever.com
I have studied comparative religions and many other worldly topics. I feel that I am forever-a-student.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet new people, hear their stories, exchange personal experiences and most of all, learn new things! A new adventure leads to knew knowledge so why not get out there and participate with the people around you and teach each other new things?

Interests

I love good food, good art, good fun! My life wouldn't be interesting if I couldn't have meaningful talks with people as well; I love to talk about big issues.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: any Coen Brothers movies, Bridesmaids, Amelie, I like documentaries. There are so many!

Music: I like a lot of indie music and classic rock. Not to mention embarrassing pop music. I like Feetwood Mac, Patti Smith, CCR, Spankrock, Beyonce, Black Sabbath, Brian Eno, Thin Lizzy.

Books: I mostly enjoy non-fiction. I just read 1491, Omnivores Dilemma, Just Kids.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-Flying myself in an airplane from point A to point B.
-Going to Iguazu falls in Argentina
-Playing music with friends. . . doesn't get much better than that
