About Me

Hi there! My name is Linda. I’m a cheerful and optimistic girl who believes that the world is full of wonders waiting to be explored. While I may come across as calm and rational on the outside, deep down I carry a deeply emotional and curious heart.

Traveling has opened the door for me to see the world from different angles. With each journey, I’ve found myself slowing down—no longer rushing from one landmark to another, but taking time to connect with people, to listen to stories, and to discover the beauty in everyday moments.

I believe that the true essence of travel lies in the people we meet along the way. That’s why I love Couchsurfing—sharing conversations, meals, and laughs with locals makes every trip more meaningful. I’m always excited to learn, share, and grow through these cultural exchanges.

Looking forward to meeting you and discovering the world together, one story at a time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first discovered Couchsurfing in 2019, when I spent two months exploring the United States and stayed with ten different host families. Each stay brought new stories, lasting friendships, and even inspired me to welcome a friend into my own home. Then COVID‑19 put my travels on hold for several years, and my old account eventually became inactive. Now I’m eager to create a fresh profile, to embark on a different kind of journey—one built on trust, warmth, and genuine connection. I can’t wait to open this new chapter of travel, sharing experiences and making memories with hosts and fellow surfers around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all forms of art that uplift the spirit, such as" Tuesdays with Morrie". Whether I’m watching the film or revisiting Mitch Albom’s original book, Morrie’s wisdom about love, loss, and what truly matters never fails to inspire me. For music, “You Raise Me Up” speaks directly to my heart. these pieces of art fuel my optimism and remind me why I travel, learn, and share stories with others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2020, stucked in the United States for eight months due to COVID‑19 travel restrictions, I turned uncertainty into opportunity. I immersed myself in painting, exploring new techniques and expressing myself stroke by stroke. At the same time, I designed and delivered online courses to help teachers adapt to virtual classrooms—finding real purpose in empowering educators during a challenging time. And, I spent three transformative months living in an eco‑village, where simple, sustainable living and close community ties taught me profound lessons about nature, connection, and the true meaning of life. These experiences not only expanded my skills but also deepened my sense of purpose and wonder.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to use the "OH card" and coach technology to communicate and share our stories, I know how to cook traditional Chinese food and I do a lot to other Couchsurfing hosts, and they love that. hahahaha.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m not here simply to find a free place to stay—I want to experience local culture through the everyday life of ordinary families. Once, I stayed with an 85‑year‑old grandfather whose stories moved me to tears; as I listened to his loneliness and wisdom, I learned so much about resilience and the beauty of a life well lived. In return, I’m eager to share my own stories, culture, art, and daily life with you, creating a genuine exchange that goes far beyond a roof over my head.
