I spent my first few full-time working years as a teacher, after which I moved into a position at a DC non-profit. For the past few years I've been avoiding the job market as a grad student while, with any luck, learning something in the process.

Most couchsurfing has been through friends of friends on impromptu weekend trips.

Books: textbooks, coloring books, comic books, the usual fiction (e.g., Saunders, Franzen)

I've spent weeks eating nothing but pizza and ice cream.
