About Me

Hello! I’m Junaid, an engineer from India living in Bahrain for the past nine years. My journey has allowed me to explore diverse cultures and meet wonderful people across ten countries. I believe that travel enriches the soul and opens our minds to new perspectives.

As a travel lover, I enjoy immersing myself in local traditions, trying out new cuisines, and connecting with fellow adventurers. Whether it’s hiking through the mountains, lounging on a beach, or wandering through bustling city streets, I find joy in every experience. Each trip teaches me something new, and I love sharing these stories with others.

In my professional life, I strive to maintain a balance between work and play. Engineering has provided me with a solid foundation, but it’s my passion for travel that fuels my creativity and inspires my problem-solving skills. I’m always on the lookout for opportunities to learn and grow, both personally and professionally.

I’m excited to connect with fellow travelers and locals through Couchsurfing. I believe that the best way to truly experience a place is by staying with someone who knows it well. I’m eager to share my adventures, hear your stories, and perhaps even explore the surroundings together!

If you’re looking for a friendly and open-minded guest who appreciates good conversations and cultural exchanges, I’d love to connect. Let’s make some unforgettable memories together!

Looking forward to meeting you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I did in Switzerland was taking a scenic train journey on the Glacier Express. This iconic train ride, often called the "slowest express train in the world," took me through breathtaking landscapes, from the charming villages of Zermatt and St. Moritz to the stunning Swiss Alps.

I marveled at the snow-capped peaks, pristine valleys, and picturesque lakes while enjoying delicious Swiss chocolate. The panoramic views from the observation car were simply unforgettable. This experience not only offered a unique perspective of Switzerland's natural beauty but also allowed me to appreciate the serenity and majesty of the mountains. It was a highlight of my travels and a true testament to the country's stunning landscapes.
