I'm a student who likes to incorporate travel into my studies. I work with farmers studying a mix of food systems, public health, and natural resource management in fragile socio-ecosystems. This led me to beautiful places like the semi-arid regions of Kenya, Uganda, and previously India and Bangladesh. I love the natural outdoors even though I was born in the concrete jungle of Hong Kong.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Traveling on a budget. I had many great experiences o hospitality in other countries and I'd like to return the same to others visiting my city.
Cooking fusion food (South Asian, Italian, French, Chinese, Thai, Mexican)
Camping, hiking, kayaking, dragonboating, snow shoeing, skiing, biking
Farmers markets and picnics
- pub crawls
- outdoor activities
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I did a 4-day hike to one of the 3 summits of Mt. Kenya. It was an incredible journey, hiking through moorishland, bamboo forests, river vally, snow and ice, sometimes in the night with the sky full of stars. I would do it again if I have a chance!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I would love to cook together with the hosts, visit local markets and pubs, but am totally respectful of host's personal time.
