Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Look at profile cbumga11 for references.I shared that account on CS and after a dozen experiences, decided I should have my own. It's been phenomenal!Italy and France CS were my favorite CS times!

Interests

Anything/anyone I can learn from. I am multi-faceted. One day I can be curled up to the fireplace with a non-fictional PAPER book (not E-book), with classical in the background and the next I could be on my way to "surfing" great waves and camping on a beach. I say "surfing" because I am a total novice..BTW: totally true! I read, write, learn different languages, feed the homeless, nurse the sick, tend to orphans, run, jump, play, spend time with family, oh and let's not forget: indulge in my foodie/wino tendencies after a hard day's work.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was in the middle of sheep herding in Austria in the pouring rain when a new acquaintance said, "Hey, the weather sucks here..let's go somewhere better....ITALY" So off we went and were in a totally different environment within 12 hours. I taught a class of impoverished Peruvian children and rather than walking away thinking of how I left an imprint, I walked away crying because of how much these financially poor children left me with the feeling of immense wealth in the currency of love and appreciation!
