About Me
Hi there! :) I'm Jun-ho Park from South Korea. I’ve recently completed my Master’s degree in Physical Therapy. Before moving my career from Daejeon to Seoul, I decided to join Couchsurfing to experience the wider world with my girlfriend.
We are incredibly open-minded and adventurous (as long as it’s legal!). Although my English isn't perfect, I am more sincere than anyone when it comes to connecting and communicating. Like my profession, I find great joy in helping others and sharing meaningful interactions.
I’m a person who gets deeply immersed in things I love, even staying up all night. One small quirk is that my memory isn't the best, so I might ask questions twice—please bear with me! I am a Christian, but I deeply respect all religions and beliefs. My goal is to live this young, free moment without regrets, as we never know what tomorrow holds. My motto is 'Carpe Diem'! Would you like to enjoy the present moment with us?
‐‐----‐--------------------------------------------------
Hello everyone!
I’m writing to share some updates regarding my hosting availability. Starting January 24th, I will be away from Daejeon to embark on a two-month journey across Europe.
Following my travels, I am scheduled to relocate to Seoul in April. Since I will be in a transition period and settling into a new home, my residence will be uncertain for a while. Therefore, I won't be able to host any guests during this time.
I plan to reopen my doors once I am fully settled in Seoul and ready to welcome travelers for meaningful cultural exchanges again.
Thank you for your understanding, and I look forward to meeting you in the future!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find communicating with people from different backgrounds incredibly exciting. I joined to connect comfortably with people even in far-off countries and to share genuine life experiences.
Interests
I’m passionate about singing and basketball. In Korea, I’m considered a pretty good player, but I’m always eager to learn more from true enthusiasts! I’ve loved singing since I was a child and have won several awards in local competitions. I love Jazz, Pop, R&B, and of course, K-pop. If you love music, we’ll be best friends! Also, my girlfriend is an amazing dancer—she knows almost every K-pop choreography. I’m not too bad myself, so let’s dance!
Professionally, I’m fascinated by rehabilitation. I love discussing how to integrate rehab techniques with weight training.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Old Jazz, Pop, Musicals, and K-pop.
Books: I mostly spend time with my professional medical/PT textbooks lately!
Movies: I’m a huge movie buff! SF, Fantasy, Thriller, Noir, Superhero movies, and Musical films.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The Cadaver dissection lab during my studies. Directly exploring the human body was an unforgettable experience. The scent, seeing the actual color of nerves, and feeling the toughness of tendons changed my perspective on life and the human body forever.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: Manual therapy (Musculoskeletal issues), how to sing Korean songs, Korean etiquette, cooking Korean food, Korean drinking games, and K-pop dance (with my girlfriend!).
Learn: Local culture that only residents know, your personal values, philosophy, and your language.
Share: Positive energy and a sincere heart for communication.
What I Can Share with Hosts
As a professional physical therapist, I can provide expert rehabilitation tips and posture corrections. I can also cook delicious authentic Korean meals for you!
