ABOUT ME

Was raised in a multicultural, military family. Bounced around a lot when younger, but spent most of school days life between Chicago and Ohio. Pops (dad) is African-American (black) and mom is Korean (yellow?). Have 4 older sisters (yeah, it was rough), 2 half, 2 full, no bro's. Very much involved in my cultural heritage on both sides. Bought a house down in New Orleans and rebuilt it after 'you know what'. Lived there for 6 years, heart is still there, and decided was time for a move. I figured I have been living pretty much all my life in the States, thought it was only fair to head to my other side of my cultural heritage. So now I'm teaching English to a bunch of high, middle, and elementary students in Korea. Besides that, pretty chill person, at least I'd like to think.

help out in anyway possible. I know how it is to want to travel with no funds. Hell, I'm still doing it! So if I can help someone trying to experience something to expand one's mind.. I'm all for it!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

In the past year I've been fortunate enough to host some of the best surfers one could ask for. They all have been super respectful and open to trying something new. It's nice when you get to host people that reaffirm what this website is all about. Look forward to surfing more and hosting as well.

Tend to be into everything. Will try anything once, usually twice. When visiting places, really enjoy when other people take the role of leader. To me it's all about the experience 90% of the time. The other 10% is based off the nearest toilet.

Just have to remember, the mind is like a parachute, it only works when open

Silly question to even try to answer, could go on for hours. Just a few... anything Wu-Tang, LCD soundsystem, Radiohead, The Black Keys, Ernie K. Doe (if you have to ask, then you're missing out), Weezer, Kanye West, Mos Def, Ben Harper Gorillaz ok, ok I'll stop. Like I said could go on for hours! Oh yeah,any book by Murakami is pure genius.

Waking up in the morning on top of Temple #4 in Tical, Guatemala was f**king epic! Watching the sun rise and hearing the jungle wake up from up there was is how the gods must feel everyday!

But everyday is amazing in its own way, but I once saw this girl and a donkey... wait, maybe I should keep that to myself
