A warm hello from Iran! My name is Morteza. My roots are in the historic town of Lar in Fars province, but these days you can find me in Jam, a small county close to the industrial port of Asaluyeh, where I work as a corrosion analyst.
My journey with Couchsurfing began back in 2009. For years, I was an avid host, and it was a true pleasure to open my home to more than 100 surfers from around the world. While my living situation has changed and I can no longer host, the spirit of connection is still strong. (It's a common issue, but many of my wonderful guests from back then didn't get around to leaving a reference!)
I may seem quiet when you first meet me, but once I warm up, I have a treasure trove of funny stories to share.
