Hi there! My name is Jurij and live currently in San Jose, CA. Since June 2018 I live with a wonderful host family and I am working here as an Au Pair. Living with other people is a great opportunity and I would love to keep that up even when I am travelling. It is great to get other people's lifestyle and cultures to know.
Travelling has become one of the most important parts of my life recently. Meeting and communicating with so many different people made my life a lot more richer and exciting.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Living with my family here in the US made me realizing how much I appreciate meeting new people. I truly believe that I've been developing by that so much in the past and I would love to expand that to my travels.
Visiting different cities is exciting and I am so looking forward to as much as possible of the world. But meeting its "locals" is definitely one of the best things you could ever experience during your stay.
Their views of the city or their stories about it is something you won't ever find in a tour guide!

I get really easily addicted to Netflix series like Dexter, Breaking Bad or even Orange Is the New Black. My favorite bands right now are the Arctic Monkeys, Green Day and the twenty one pilots!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've spend two of my summer breaks in Ireland, living with a host family! There I was able to make so many International friends and improving my English. That was one of the biggest reinforcements for me to move to the US finally!
