I'm Maria from Japan. I was born in Kumamoto which was one of Kyusyu (South Island of Japan). Actually I grew up in Tokyo.

I have stayed Canada for learning English, Australia for a working holiday and New Zealand for traveling. I had a road trip around Britain, then I went to Canada again for holidays. I came back to Japan.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

When I was in Canada, one of my friends told me Couchsurfing. I've just heard the name. When I decided to travel around Australia by myself, I didn't have many friends each city. I thought I might enjoy my trip more if I had local friends. Local people know good places which is sightseeing, restaurants, cafe and so on. I would like to meet new people to make friends. That's why, I joined Couchsurfing.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

My favorite genre of music is POP and country music. I listen to FM radio by English because I need more listening English skill. I'm interested in listening to music which I don't know. If you have favorite songs, please let me know.

I would like to teach Japanese. Doing Language Exchange makes me excited because I can learn your culture and get a lot of knowledge.
