About Me

Visit every country on this planet.

There are over 200 countries on this planet and i will not feel at peace before visiting them all.

Besides witnessing a ridiculous number of cheesy sunsets in exotic locations, traveling is also about meeting people, interacting ,exchanging ideas and opinions about everything under the sun.We number over 6 billion now and so it could be slightly overambitious trying to visit every person on planet earth... I reckon that one doesnt necesserily need to meet hundreds and thousands of people in order to develope some sort of an idea about the attitudes and mentality in any given country. In my humble opinion passion and sincerity are the factors which help go through superficial cultural barriers and ultimately lead to some degree of understanding over the country one is visiting.Little spanish and french could help too...
Does this make any sort of sense...Well if it doesnt i will come up equally confusing theories next week.Thank god for the edit option...

Who actually does have a personal philosophy...Descartes..Well..without trying to be too high browish about this i would reckon that if i were to have any personal philosophy it could be put into two simple words...respect and understanding. When u face the world without respect and willingness to understand your immediate environment it is like heading up the famous shitcreek without a paddle. This is especially true while travelling.Blindly imposing ones own values in a culturally distinct surroudings is denying oneself from any truly significant learning experiences.

Although i strongly do believe in what i just wrote, it doesnt mean that i always behave accordingly.I am a human being with corresponding weaknesses and as a sad consequence i sometimes behave like a total jackass...I wish i was more like Gandhi or something but frankly i dont think thats gonna happen any time soon.My biggest fear is that i might reincarnate as a toad and then some sick bastard will lick me just to get high...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

OK...i will definitely have to work on this one...

Unless one is a complete extrovert,it is not always easy to make friends or meet people in a foreing country.C.S gives u that edge, the possibility to meet like minded people from different cultural backgrounds who are eager to share their knowledge, experiences and opinions.I am definitely hooked

A glass of nice red wine is defitely interesting and if there are friendly people who tell captivating stories it doesnt get much better.
Yeah and travelling .I am a dromomaniac...theres simply no better description for my condition.Thats it.A compulsive traveller..trust me not always fun.

Readings pretty addictive too.I have about 1000 books and quite frankly those are my only earthly possessions..

Oh yeah and eating and cooking...I am fairly certain that one day i will simply explode...
And if someone tells me about history and politics of ones own country thats very enjoyable too

Photography thats a definite passion
I am getting a bit old but by doubling my efforts i still like learn new languages..

Music, Movies, and Books

The first time i filled this space in, it was with a lameass collection of random authors which didnt correspond to anything really and frankly wasnt nowhere near an accurate description of my reading habits.

First of all..i do read.Once i locked myself into a hotel room for a month..read about a book a day and came out feeling intellectually satisfied but looking like a crazy person...i hadnt shaved for 30 days and had eaten only room service hot dogs..

Truly, isnt it difficult to name ones all time favourite book...I think that reading a book is a moment in time,a pleasent experience which will be replaced by another pleasent experience and ultimately forming an eternal, enchanting cycle...

Music..yeah..well who was that clever guy who claimed that life without music was a complete and utter absurdity...I agree, but then again my knowledge on that particular field is quite dismal.Should u claim that Bon Jovi played drums for Led Zeppelin i would take your word for it and pass this exciting piece of info forward...If anyone has World music for Dummies PLEASE send it over..

My appetite for books is definitely equalled by the one for movies.I spent 2.5 years with audio-visual studies and at times we would raid our videotheque..get a whole bunch of munchies and have two-day movie-marathons..That was nice.

I am quasi-omnivore with the seventh art ,bar a few exceptions.I am really not a fan of horror or sci-fi movies. The first scare the living crap out of me and latter just bore me to death.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have appeared in five Bollywood films, sold revolutionary newspapers in the streets of Bucarest, worked as a photographer in Ile de la Reunion...And up till now i have gotten up every morning living and breathing...

Teach, Learn, Share

I would be glad to teach conversational english ,french or finnish to anyone interested. And i will think of something more constructive and life altering later on...
