I hosted 4 people and surfed once. Plus I spent couple of days in the crazy CS house (PV) in Berlin

Mostly electronic music and indie rock, also love the balkan beats. some favourites: the gossip, mgmt, groove armada, the ting tings, florence and the machine, shantel, bregovic, the cat empire, broken bells, fatboy slim, muse, cassius, gorillaz, the roots, nas, the heavy, ... a neverending list

i mostly read non-fiction and travel reportages. check out Doug Coupland and Asne Seierstad
