ABOUT ME

It's funny how the "quarter life crisis" has morphed from a light-hearted joke to a true reality for me. Don't get me wrong though, I wouldn't have it any other way and this is a crisis mostly of my own choosing. I'm not quite ready (nor do I know if I ever will be) to dig my heels into the mud and start 'living for the future'. While 'going green' is a charming idea that I'm all about, this isn't quite the future Iâ

PHILOSOPHY

Wow, it's really kind of difficult filling all of these boxes in without talking with my hands or using non-verbal communication to convey the kind of person I am. I think we will die as students. Constant learning is inevitable so why not embrace that and enjoy the ride? I don't think that ALL of life is (or should be) fun but there is a time to be serious and a time to be silly and I actually try to make the two meet in the middle somewhere - if that makes any sense at all. Getting things accomplished and making progress but always enjoying the ride and valuing what is real.

Towards the middle/end of the summer (July or August) I'll be moving and I'd be happy to offer a couch then.

Food, language, connecting with people over the big questions. I'm the "why girl". I'm determined to get down to the root of things and the heart and soul of people. I am really light-hearted and positive as well so I love easy-going/open people. I like to take things apart and see how they work. Doing nice things for people and loving every single minute that I am young and able to really know and appreciate how much I have to be happy about

Couchsurfing in general has been such an amazing experience -- that and I just convinced my boyfriend to buy me some chickens... that'll be an interesting experience
